Colin Regan (GAA Community and Health Manager)

Presentation Title: The Big Perspective of Small People.
Colin was reared on a small farm in north Leitrim, number eleven of Mae and Oliver Regan’s twelve children. The experience bestowed upon him an ability to work hard and play hard, a healthy dose of empathy, and a love of people and their stories.
He worked as a journalist and editor before joining the GAA in 2011, where his goal as Community & Health manager is to maximize Gaelic games’ contribution to communities across Ireland and beyond. He represented Leitrim and his club, Melvin Gaels, a little too long but loved every minute of every game. Now exiled in Dublin with his wife, Maggie, and their two children, he keeps Eliza and Oscar’s accents in check with regular visits to the Northwest.
